Unfortunately, Whatever Comics declined to carry “Sidewalk Empire” booklets – I don’t think they generally retail small press comics, and I respect them for it as a business decision.
Since APE, I’ve been focusing on a very limited release of the booklets. In January, I will seek more retailers in the City to carry the booklet, but in the meantime, I’ve been very touched that Mission: Comics and Art, Isotope, Comix Experience, and Needles & Pens have agreed so readily to carry my work. So I want to encourage people to shop at these four local stores during the holiday season!
