Kenji “Sushi” Tsuji

A member of the Fujimoto-gumi, Kenji Tsuji has carved out one of the Japanese yakuza’s few footholds in the Northeastern United States. With interests in New York City, Atlantic City, and Providence, Sushi runs several gambling dens and helps in laundering money for the Fujimoto-gumi’s Hawaii and Los Angeles operations. Having botched two major investments in the past, he has atoned for his two mistakes through a yakuza custom known as yubitsume, in which the top joint of the little finger is severed and presented to the offended person. Missing both top joints of his little fingers, Sushi now faces expulsion from the gang if he screws up again. He is also a distant blood relative of Maremi Chang, the Dragonhead of the Big Circle Association.
