Josiah “The Professor” Carberry

Despite his overly eccentric demeanor, Josiah Carberry runs the most massive and efficient drug-running operation along the northern border of the United States. While studying Native American culture in the Akwesasne Mohawk Reserve for his next book, Professor Carberry quit the world of academics and entered in the more profitable world of smuggling. Transporting anything from cigarettes to heroin, he has invented ingenious techniques to evade some customs officials and use his smuggling profits to bribe other, less scrupulous ones. It is rumored the Professor actually feigns insanity in order to shake off convictions, indictments, and investigations. Regardless, he remains an elusive target for law enforcement due to his brilliantly unpredictable and untraceable smuggling routes.
